Featured Spotlight: Brandon Westenberger

Brandon Westenberger has been a dedicated member of the University Advancement team for nearly a decade, celebrating 10 years this November. Starting as a Data Integrity Programmer, he now serves as a Database Administrator for CMT, bringing precision and innovative insight to Advancement systems and data management. Prior to joining the university, he worked as a Data Analyst at Moss Bros Auto Group, where he developed a strong foundation in analytics and process improvement.

He has been instrumental in the university's Salesforce technology transformation—not only serving as a change champion but also acting as a subject matter expert on both current and historical data practices for the Bio/Demo sprints (1-4), and helping to validate data during the mock migration for bio-demo data. His deep knowledge of the outgoing CRM was especially critical when the team had to reverse engineer the complex relationship between solicit codes and consent records to implement service indicators in Salesforce successfully.

In addition to his expertise in databases and Mailchimp, he has a growing interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and enjoys unwinding with card and board games in his free time.
