Performance Evaluation Series

Writing your self-evaluation

Writing about yourself, especially if those words are going to be part of your permanent work record, can be daunting. But it doesn’t have to be. In fact, self-evaluations give you a voice in your performance review, and they’re opportunities to outline your career goals and get help in reaching them. In this session learn about some self-evaluation benefits, tips and examples, and how both employees and managers can complete them successfully.

Black History Month Presentation

By Dalyn Montgomery

During Black History Month, we often laud the first African American to achieve any particular thing, as well as we should, but we often stop there, as if that is the end of the story. Please join us for a presentation from Dalyn Montgomery, Director of Alumni Marketing Strategy Analytics, as he presents his research on “who came next,” or the second African American doctor, lawyer, college graduate, police officer, firefighter, elected official, military officer, and so-on. This next chapter is often surprising and more broadly applicable. Dalyn’s findings both illustrate the undeniable capability of the African diaspora and uncover a historical pattern of resistance that has been held in America across industry, geography, and time.
